 What a ship....no wonder 'Made in China' is displacing North American goods big time with this floating continent transporting goods across the Pacific in 4 days no less!!!





This is how Wal-Mart gets all it's stuff from China . Get a load of this ship! 15,000 containers and a 207' beam! And look at the crew-size: 13 people for a ship longer than a US aircraft carrier which has a crew of 5,000 men and officers.


Think it's big enough? Notice that 207' beam means it cannot fit through the Panama or Suez Canals . It is strictly transpacific. Check out the cruise speed: 31 knots means the goods arrive 4 days before the typical container ship (18-20 knots) on a China-to-California run. So this behemoth is hugely competitive when carrying perishable goods.

This ship was built in five sections. The sections floated together and then welded. The command bridge is higher than a 10-story building and has 11 cargo crane rigs that can operate simultaneously.

Editorial Comment! A recent documentary in late March on the History Channel, noted that most all of these containers are shipped back to China , EMPTY    yep you heard it right. We send nothing back on most of these ships. What does that tell you about the current Financial State of this country?

As China further profits by selling unwanted female babies (click your screen to advance the show, and your BACK ARROW to return here) to restaurants and canning factories and the Emirates have ordered 58 more of their luxury Airbus 380's (scroll down to see it all, then your BACK ARROW to return here) to take 200,000 people per day to Dubais (click your BACK ARROW after the show), Iraq has contracted to sell its oil to China while Disney raises their prices hoping to survive. America's airplanes are being mothballed, and America is frantically seeking new oil sources while Americans are joining unemployment lines and being evicted from their homes. Denmark is rushing to build more ships like the Maersk for China.  Still Americans continue to flock to Wal-Mart. Americans are making their beds, now and they will have to sleep in them.

China has a long history of deliberately poisoning the world's toys, pet foods and dairy products.  At this writing over 60,000 people are dying or suffering worldwide because the Chinese added a chemical to their dairy products to fool food testers into thinking their trash has a higher protein content that it does. Yet Wal-Mart reports record sales of its dairy products. I guess America also has no problem selling its children.
