Xiamara and her family are very happy to become part of the 1 Dream Getaway family, as we are thrilled to become part of theirs. She has been speaking well of us to her friends, and as we were at X's house giving English lessons a friend dropped by and asked to join us.  Her name is Wendy. We have a day at the beach scheduled Sunday to take photos, but wanted to put up this preview.

Girls like Wendy (and X) are the reason we are in business.  Wendy was born January 13th of 1989.  Her first pregnancy came when she was twelve. Golber is 5 and Jason is 2 1/2.  Their father spent three years abusing them, and then took off for parts unknown. Since then, Wendy lives with her mother in Puntarenus, and since she was 15 has taken a bus ( 3 hours) to work in a bar in Santa Cruz, which is owned by a friend of her mother's.

 In interviewing our companions, we like to learn as much as possible about them so we can match them with the perfect man. Among our first questions is: "What do you like to do?"  Wendy couldn't answer, as she has never done anything but take care of her kids and work, and she has never been anywhere but Puntarenus and Santa Cruz. As we explained the many things to do here in the Paradise of Costa Rica, she stood in awe. She never heard of a canopy tour, cannot imagine riding a jet ski (but she'd love to try) and knows she loves horses, the beach and animals.

When we asked Wendy what she is looking for in a boyfriend, she responded: "A man (of any size/shape/age) who is sincere, treats me well, and can love my kids."  Could that be you? If no one asks Xiamara and Wendy to our May Birthday Party, I've invited them as my guest.  Don't let them come alone.

Xiamara (see ah ma rah) has just joined the team. She is pure Tica, and her family are all wonderful people and good friends.

Born 10/31/82, Xiamara has two boys (6 and 8) over whom she dotes. We met her a year and a half ago when the new gas station opened in Belen.  She has worked there ever since. She a very active girl interested in about everything.  Her goal is to return to college and take Business Administration. X is serious about meeting a man and taking him off the market.  1 Dream Getaway aims to help her do so.

Nancy has a winning smile, and loves to touch and be touched. She also loves animals, the beach and cuddling.  There are no available men in Santa Cruz, where she lives, so she asked to join the 1 Dream Getaway team so you can get to know her.
