1 DREAM GETAWAY'S MAY 2008 BIRTHDAY PARTY
PAGE 2, the move and trip to Arenal
As our friends at the May 2008 party live in places God never intended for people to live, they were glad to have working air conditioning.
I froze, and slept outside when I stayed over. The girls got right to work moving us in.....
...and I was happy not to have to drive to the Lighthouse any more....
There was a toast to our new party home.....
And the next day, we headed out to my friend's father's home near the Arenal volcano to tour on horseback. It was only after we arrived that we learned that they could not round up the horses, so we ate, visited and left. Their dog was chained in the front yard, and attacked as we entered. We finally made up....
As was to be expected, lunch was rice and beans, and we watched Jiner and Liseth's wedding video.......
Jiner and his Dad went up a palm and made pipa ( coconut milk) for everyone, and we even had containers of pipa to take home...
On the way home to Panama Beach (and from the front yard) , we watched the the volcano blow its steam...
...and Dila helped me drive...
Then we went for a swim at the beach, and watched the sunset from our living room...
