The brief visit to our private beach for a few photos to add Isabel to our 1 Dream Getaway companions turned out to be an all-day affair. Many say "yes" when we ask if they like animals and the beach, but what that usually means is that they sometimes watch Animal Planet and have eaten in restaurants on the beach. From the moment we picked Isa up it was obvious that she was different, as she brought along her companion Luna. So we share here some of the 265 photos we took while at the beach with Isa. Any 1 Dream Getaway client can ask us to share a day at our "private beach" and we'll just pack a cooler and go. The German Shepherd is our Gomer.

Isa was born on July 8, 1960.  She lives near us, and came to Costa Rica from Columbia 13 years ago after marrying a Tico.  He turned out to be abusive and a drunk, and so she has been solo since their divorce. She is an artist, and makes beautiful crafts and jewelry.  Isa likes working, and would love some day to have her own store and display/sell her crafts. She speaks some English and has a daughter who lives in Spain.  Six years ago that daughter made Isa a grandma. Her dream is to spend her life in peace with a romantic man. She is also a great cook and very health-conscious.
