The "LOST ON A TROPICAL ISLAND" Dream Getaway Resort Here's what happens: We are waiting for you as you take your first step off your plane into Paradise at LIR, in Liberia, Costa Rica. In an hour and a half, our 4 X 4 pulls out onto the beach, where your luggage is offloaded onto a launch. Ten minutes later you are on an exotic, private beach that goes on for miles....often without a soul to be seen. It is all yours for as long as you choose to stay.

For families who want a taste of nature...where the kids can wander off into the estuary or the beach without fear of being eaten by animals or human predators. We even have a meeting room, so you can bring your employees to an exotic private setting where they will not be disturbed. And yet, should boredom overtake you, a 15 minute walk on the exotic, private, tropical beach ... a ten minute boat ride (50 cents per person) and you are in the action. Ride horses on the beach, take in the night spots and the day spots, shop till you drop, rent motorcycles, jet skis, go surfing where the world comes to surf, go deep sea fishing, sailing, scuba diving, river fishing, or take an eco tour by boat to see our monkeys, parrots, iguanas, crocodiles, and other wildlife. You can even get away to play golf on either (or both) of two 18 hole championship golf courses. Enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the world (no picture...we couldn't do it justice). The 1 Dream Getaway "Lost on a Tropical Island Resort" costs about $200 per night for two people. Prices vary according to when you come and your accommodations. You can eat and drink in the great bar/restaurant (not included in the price) while you lounge by the huge swimming pool, or have a bungalow with fully-equipped kitchen. Located on the same pristine, private tropical beach as the 1 Dream Getaway HPH resort, the Velero Resort offers something more for those with a larger budget. The restaurant is fabulous and includes lobster fresh from the ocean along with an extensive menu of seafood and non-seafood meals - WHICH ARE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. Temperatures here are rarely above 85 and rarely below 75, so the bar and restaurant, which are right on the beach, are neither enclosed nor air conditioned. There are no annoying insect pests. Your rooms are air-conditioned if you like, and quite luxurious. Who could want more from an adult vacation?
