We sometimes correspond with potential clients and receive the comment: "There are other companies doing what you do."  If this is true, we would appreciate your forwarding links to their websites. We're aware of those selling sex, prostitutes, escorts, hookers (all the same, really) to guys who want to come to Cost Rica, get laid, drink, gamble, or as we say here Pura Vida. For six years we have maintained our City Tour---a visit to a large San Jose whorehouse with casino and bar---where the girls flock to you when you walk in the door. You can negotiate prices and have as many as often as you wish. We've had numerous inquiries about the City Tour, but never a taker. We always ask: "Don't you have hookers, booze and casinos in the States?", and remind them that they can save a lot of time and money by using the Yellow Pages or cruising the red light districts.

Our photos are not as beautiful as those of the Costa Rica Sex websites. Our girls are usually not in make-up, do not have the sexy clothes, don't know how to pose, and their hair is not just-so. We know many of the pros, have gorgeous photos of some, and have arranged vacations for them.  What it took some time to realize is that many prostitutes have no ambitions other than to be hookers until their looks and bodies fail and they are just worn-out hags. Some prolong the inevitable with boob jobs, liposuction, wigs and beautiful contact lenses of various colors. Most of them are from San Jose. They command the big bucks and do their jobs well. Usually they establish a relationship and add their clients to their list. From this list they call and email with some sob story---which produces more money than their sexcapades. We've followed a lot of these stories, and have never seen one result in a true relationship.

As I grow in age, I value women over 40 most of all. Here are just a few reasons why:
 
A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, "What are you thinking?" She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting. Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it. Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated. Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40. Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart. Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off that you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her. Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?", here's an update for you. Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!

Isa is 28, 5'2" tall and weighs 128. Her eyes are a captivating black and she is a neighbor to us, although originally from Nicaragua. Remember that Guanacaste, Costa Rica was once part of Nicaragua. She has two boys (5 & 3) who live with their mother in Managua. She has a high school diploma and we met her as she was taking care of a sick neighbor of ours (a Gringo) who had several heart attacks. She supports herself from bringing sandals and clothing across the border to sell to our neighbors.

Jenny Judith Sanchez was introduced to us by her sister, Laura, who has found her mate and extremely happy. Jenny was born on August 10 of 1987, and has never had a serious boyfriend. Aydee's (pronounced ID) luck is about to change when she meets a lucky 1 Dream Getaway client who feels as we do about her. Five years ago her husband was killed in a car accident (six years after they were divorced) and her 11 year-old daughter (Fernanda) lives with her 6-year-old brother (Kenny) and Aydee's mother in Columbia.  She loves meeting people, dancing, horseback riding, dancing and and seeing new things. She hopes to meet a man who is taller than her and from her age to 50.

Aydee sells clothing in San Jose, but is planning to move near our home/office and will be a neighbor. She is open to the future, and just wants to live a "normal" life with a "normal" guy. She stands 5' 6", weighs 110 pounds, and was born on 10/16/76. If you want to have a dream vacation and meet Aydee, don't come between Christmas and January 15, as she will be visiting her family.

MARIA RAMIREZ CRUZ

A Tica, she weighs 45 kg and stands 1.65 meters tall. with brown eyes. Maria has an open mind for her future, but has many dreams. She has a large family who are very close. Maria loves kayaking. hiking, zip lining and movies---particularly comedies and action films plus cartoons. We never heard this before from a Tica, but Maria claims NOT to be a good dancer, although she loves dancing. She wants to learn about life and the world, and see more of people and places within and without Costa Rica. She is open as to the person with whom she would like to share these experiences.

One lucky 1 Dream Getaway client is likely to change his life when he meets Isa. When we schedule a photo shoots with potential companions, we advise them that the photos need to speak of who they are as those photos are all 1 Dream Getaway readers get to see until we start talking about upcoming travel to Paradise. Some of our photo shoots never made the pages of www.1dreamgetaway.com, as the girls will tell us how they love the beach, we schedule time at the beach, and they either don't have bathing suits or borrow one from a friend for their photos. They normally cannot swim and are afraid to be in even waist-deep water. They tell us how they love animals, but are disgusted to find dog hair on the seat of our car. Anticipating such events, we scheduled a photo shoot at the beach with Isa only to find she is everything she claims to be. A couple of hours at the beach turned into an entire day. She brought her dog (Luna---her constant companion) and spent the day in perpetual motion---swimming, playing with Luna (and our Dila and Gomer) and truly enjoying a day at the beach as much as we did.

We wound up with 265 photos for the day, and each was nicer than the previous. This is a work-in-progress, so we share a few photos here and have amended our site with a COMPANIONS 1A (Isa) page so you can share our day in June, 2009 at the beach with Isa. Dana has moved from our Companions Page to our Testimonials page. David is moving here to Paradise, and they are expecting a new addition to the new family.  Today Dana brought her friend Maru who is a true sweetheart and looking for the right man to accompany her for the rest of her life....

Maru was born on August 22, 1977 and came here four years ago from Columbia. She sells men's and women's clothes made in Columbia to stores and individuals. Before Dana's divorce, Maru sold to Dana's clothing store and hence the introduction.

Maru has riveting eyes and a come hither smile.  She is a great swimmer, and loves the beach. She also likes to read adventure and romantic books. Maru loves giving and getting massages,  romantic dinners and walks on the beach. Of course dancing the meringue and salsa are always on the menu. Her dream is to meet a cuddly, loving, faithful man who would like to spend his life with her.

lives in now, but she was born in Columbia then moved to Panama.  Now she is looking for someone to take her home and keep her. She was born on 10/6/86. She loves the beach, horses, canopy tours,  fishing, and would like to learn how to dive. She's a great swimmer. Her ideal man loves making love, cuddling and exploring. Linda stands 5'5" and weighs 110 pounds.

Aracelly is another girl we have come to know better over time. She's not a kid, and we've not been flooding with emails from men wanting to meet her. The truth is that we senior citizens could do a lot worse than to have the genuine affection and love that Aracelli has to offer.

She was born on November 11 of 1954, loves animals, football, basketball (playing and watching), the beach, boats, horseback riding, and romantic dinners. Her dream is to meet someone who genuinely cares for her and wants to spend a lifetime doing what they both enjoy. Her ideal man is from her age to 65, taller than her (5' 7") and not obese. She is counting on being invited to our May Birthday Party. MARITZA

is the latest 1 Dream Getaway girl looking for a man---and just coming of the age to do so.  Her voice is so sweet it makes you melt.

Born August 16, 1989, Marissa stands 5'5" and weighs 110 pounds. She loves the water and would love to learn to dive. She is a high school grad, has no kids, and loves horses.  She drinks socially, does not smoke, and dreams some day of seeing Miami. Marissa currently works as a waitress.

We have known Carlita for some time, and welcome her to the 1 Dream Getaway team.

She is 1.65 meters tall, 27 years old, and currently a kick boxing instructor.

Carlita is also studying Interior Design.

Obviously Carlita loves to model, and is good at it.  As a matter of fact, she's good at everything, and one of those people you just love to be with.  She is perfectly bilingual, enjoys whiskey, wine and rum when she's partying, and loves aerobics, horse back riding and (of course) dancing.

MARIA JOSE's parents wanted a boy, hence her middle name. We known her to be a truly classy, intelligent, stable lady. She is 25, and has three kids who live in Nicaragua.

Maria Jose came to Costa Rica two years ago with the intent of making enough money to build a little house on her parent's farm.  Now that Ortega is President of Nicaragua, she is leery of planning a future there, and would love to meet a great man who likes kids and would like to make a future with her anywhere.
