We had not driven here for a year, as the road was strictly for 4X4's. We even had to change some 1 Dream Getaway vacations booked to our Undiscovered Resort, as the road was totally impassable during the 2007 rainy season. WHAT A SURPRISE! to find crews working feverishly to make a beautiful paved road with drainage and concrete sidewalks (almost unheard of in Costa Rica) to visit Jesus' farm. This area is truly undiscovered, although there are some expensive homes and resorts being built in the area. To give you an example of what an opportunity this is, the road to 4 Seasons was built about two years ago. When they started building the road, surrounding land was selling for $10/square meter. Two years later, when the road was finished, the same land was valued at $1000/square meter. Same land---just with a nearby good road. This is happening NOW near Jesus' farm, and we cannot think of a better place to invest your money.

You can see the beach from the mountains, and we will be going by horseback in another week to take photos of the view, as no one was in the mood for climbing, and we'll have horses next time. What a spectacular place to have a home/condo/restaurant/hotel/resort/B&B! While you're waiting for the photos, you can click the Undiscovered link above to see the beach. Jesus lived in the real Costa Rica. There is lots of water and wildlife, but you will have to make a decent entrance and bring in utilities (a kilometer away). When this property is gone, we know of no others like it in all of Costa Rica.
This property would be the perfect place for an Eco Resort or Eco Home sites.
Remember, we took these photos at the very end of the Guanacaste dry season, and we have not had rain for 5 months.
There are mature mango and orange trees, and some fruits I have never seen before:

As we approached to tour Jesus' farm, we ran into the Todo (horse run to the beer tent) and decided to attend the fiesta in Florida, Costa Rica:
In America, cut into boards, these teak trees would easily sell for a couple thousand each....
