Grandma is camera shy, and I had fun chasing her around, but never really got a photo...

In the photo on the left, she is holding a Frisbee, which they were using as a water dish. As you cannot buy a Frisbee here and our German Shepherd had just destroyed mine, I tried to buy it---but Grandma refused to sell it, and gave it to me.
This is Grandma's kitchen (left below)---a typical Costa Rica kitchen with wood-burning stove. The two photos on the right (below) show the national symbol of Costa Rica, the ox cart. Our car is shown parked on the road adjoining the farm, and the ox cart is bringing firewood (which he collects along the road) to Grandma's kitchen...

This property has everything. The roads are good, and when the highway is completed, local properties will increase 20 times in value. We know this from experience. Utilities (electric) run right along the property, but there is no city water. Here is where local knowledge becomes your biggest asset. Minai (Costa Rica's EPA) has been making it very difficult for Gringos to have new wells, so Alberto and Juan Carlos will put in wells wherever you want BEFORE your property is registered in your name. A cheap and easy solution you cannot find at any other Costa Rica realtor. We do not like bureaucracy or red tape, and so we cut it out!
Here you can see the progress on the 4-lane highway---which is only months from completion!

The land is relatively flat, and although there are some spectacular large and valuable trees, most of the land is brush and easy to clear (again, 1 Dream Getaway can help you with this).
